Pickup Calendar & Core Handoff: From Won Bid to Warehouse Work
How the sourcing calendar, collection link and inbound order keep the commercial promise attached to the physical pickup.
A won sourcing bid is not finished when the customer clicks Award. That is when operations inherits the promise. The pickup calendar and Core handoff make sure the promise arrives with context instead of a vague calendar invite and the phrase "ask sales."
Calendar view
/sourcing/calendar shows upcoming pickup work from won requests and related collection planning. It gives sourcing and operations a shared view of timing, region, volume and status before the day gets crowded.
Automatic handoff
When a bid is awarded, ReVend creates the downstream collection and inbound order for the winning ITAD tenant. Customer, location, expected items, compliance requirements and bid context travel with the records. Re-typing the same pickup in Core would be both slower and an excellent way to misspell the customer.
Where Core takes over
Core handles scheduling, driver assignment, delivery, receiving, testing, erasure, grading and evidence. Sourcing owns the commercial discovery and bid outcome. The handoff is the bridge between the two.
Why it matters
Marketplaces fail when the sale is exciting and the operation is surprised. The calendar and handoff keep the warehouse from discovering tomorrow's pickup through hallway weather reports.
